This course is suitable for all staff in Early Years settings, but will have added significance to managers and senior leaders.

This ‘Inspection Readiness’ training has been designed to support leaders and managers to understand what to expect from your Early Years Ofsted Inspection.

In 2019, The Quality Inspection Framework was introduced and with it came a number of significant changes to the focus and manner of inspections. With the emphasis now upon the Quality of Education, Early Years Inspections have changed considerably.

During this session we will look in detail at the Ofsted Inspection Handbook, discuss each of the individual judgements and consider the evidence the inspector will be looking for on the day and whilst gathering evidence beforehand.  

We will also discuss the learning walk, key terminology to be aware of and some practical tips an guidance on how to get the most from your inspection.
