This course is suitable for practitioners working with children up to 2 years old, or any staff wishing to develop their knowledge.

Understanding child development in the first 18 months/2years.

Research tells us that we should never underestimate what a baby can do.  They are born to be sociable and emotional, communicative, physical and curious. This course will explore:

• Brain development before the baby is born.
• What the baby already knows before they meet their parents for the first time.
• How babies learn and why the prime areas are important to support the emotional, sociable, communicative, physical and scientific baby!
• What you the practitioner needs to do to support learning and development.
