This session will be focused on the role of the key person, including effective observation and assessment in light of the EYFS reforms.

Through the session we will:

• Develop an in depth knowledge of the role of a key person in Early Years settings.
• Learn how to develop and maintain effective relationships with parents/carers.
• How to support effective partnership working with other professionals.
• How observation and assessment routines can remain meaningful without being overly time consuming.
